Endeavor Saudi Welcomes eTree to the Network

Endeavor Saudi joined the 74th International Selection Panel (ISP) held Sept 11-13, 2017 in Brooklyn, NY, with candidate Esra Assery, Founder, and CEO of eTree who was successfully selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur after pitching his business to six panelists of top global business leaders and investors. eTree resembles a successful business that positioned itself around branding and digital communications. With branding, semantics is everything. Though in Saudi Arabia and many Arabic-speaking markets, international brands fail to pick up on subtle cultural nuances, often mistranslating slogans and inaccurately portraying their customer bases, and local agencies produce low-quality work, as compared to their international counterparts. Additionally, unemployment for women is 7x higher than for men, even though women are the majority of college graduates. Run by 90% Saudi women, eTree is a fully integrated digital agency that provides high-quality, localized solutions at 50% of the cost of an international agency. eTree has already worked with a handful of local governments and globally renowned companies such as GE, Shell, and Cisco, and the company is poised to scale within the GCC digital advertising market valued at $4 billion. By 2020, eTree expects to expand to five new geographies across MENA to provide Arabic-centric solutions on an international stage. After the selection, Endeavor Entrepreneurs gain access to comprehensive customized services, including introductions to local and international business mentors and volunteers from Fortune 500 consulting firms who will help them address key needs. Endeavor Entrepreneurs have had a significant track record of creating hundreds of thousands of jobs, generating billions of dollars in revenues, and building sustainable growth models in their home countries.
